youTurn 2015: Mark Haim comes to San Diego!!!!
In its fifth and most ambitious event to date, youTurn Contemporary Arts Exhibition is proud to bring the internationally accomplished choreographer, teacher, and performer Mark Haim to San Diego. Haim will re-set This Land Is Your Land on 15 or more local, San Diego Performers. For a cross-disciplinary and diverse cast, the work touches upon pressing issues of contemporary life including: consumerism, environmental abuse, body image, and corporate power. The content of this work is politically savvy, and meticulously timed. This Land Is Your Land was named one of the most influential works of the last 15 years in Dance Magazine.
