Ballard Sessions Live #5: Frankie Benefit (#2!)

Time Out says

Doors 7p. Show 8-10p. Tickets: http://ballardsessionslive5.brownpapertickets.com/ In the first days of 2015 I went to Tacoma on a whim and adopted a pup from a Petco adoption event. Long story short, it was a sketchy rescue operation (my hunch is a cover for a puppy mill) and they sold me a sick pup. 36 hours later she was in the late night emergency clinic with parvovirus, which is basically puppy ebola. I rallied the interwebs and we ended up on the news, and the rescue organization said on camera that they would help me pay for her expenses, but has not followed through. So, with my credit cards maxed out, I'm putting on this (second) show to raise funds for Frankie (who has recovered fully and is busy charming anyone she meets - and many of you she hasn't met yet!) I've asked some of my closest friends in Seattle music to play, some of whom you may not have heard of before, but this show is more about human friendship and doggie friendship than me finding the most famous person I can find to headline. If you love dogs as well as Seattle music, please join us! I might even be able to convince the Abbey to let you bring your dogs, stay tuned. If you haven't been to a Ballard Sessions Live before, it's not your typical show. There are no chairs, so BRING PILLOWS or something else to sit on. There will be wine, possibly beer. The Abbey has extremely good acoustics and I will be filming, so please come to listen and not to chatter. Hope to see you! Doors 7p, show 8-10p. Special thanks to Fremont Abbey for giving me the space at a huge discount, Frankie loves you and so do I!
