Time Out says
BYOB is for undergraduates (of any major) who want to pitch an idea for a business, company, product, or service. We've seen ideas for apps, food trucks, car detailing businesses, online education platforms, exercise equipment, clothing lines, music brands, etc. Students who pitch receive feedback from their peers in the audience and are challenged with tough questions from serial entrepreneur Michael Schutzler and startup lawyer Lee Schindler, with the intent of discovering aspects of the idea that need further development. Both have a wealth of experience and a fantastic track record with students.
No registration is required, just show up, enjoy pizza on us, and either pitch or observe the process. It's fun, you'll learn a ton, and if you bring an idea to the table, you'll get direct feedback on what to do next.
Open to any UW undergraduate of ANY major. No registration required, just show up!
*Hosted by the UW Buerk Center for Entrepreneurship.
