"Doctor For A Day" Workshop @ Africatown

The major goals of CHYOP (Careers in Healthcare Youth Outreach Program) are to inform, engage, and encourage minority youth to consider medicine as a career. The workshop at Africatown will include 4 stations: 1. Suturing taught by surgery residents 2. Vital Signs taught by medical students 3. Pathology Organs taught by medical students 4. Interviewing Patients taught by medical students We will also provide information about the pathway to get to medical school and provide participants with resources and UW School of Medicine goodies!
