Orryelle Defenestrate-Bascule says
A ritual musical dance-theatre performance by Orryelle about the Viking Gunnar who was thrown into a pit of serpents.
According to the ancient Saga, his sister Gudrun threw a harp in to save him, but he could only play it with his feet as his hands were bound.
To entrance the Serpents without, he must find the Serpents within...
Only performed before in Norway (2016) and Australia (2016, 2017) due to the unique requirements of the show (harp, loom, snake-charmers, valkyries…), this spectacular ritual dance-theatre is now making its USA debut in Seattle.
Gunnar: Orryelle
Snake-charmers and live soundscapes: Zane Lazos and Jay Lieber, and Weles Martusewicz (cello).
Additional vocals by Gioia Lovarco Von Spain
Valkyrie: Vanessa Skantze
