Jesus & The Self says
Is it possible that Jesus was saying something different than what Christianity currently believes?

Join me on Easter Sunday where I'll be sharing my thoughts on what Jesus was actually trying to say. I love Jesus very much and I can't say that there's been a more influential figure in my life. Out of this love I left the church but remained dedicated to understanding this mysterious being.

This led me to studying Religion at the University of Hawai'i, where I gained an appreciation for the historical and scholarly study of Jesus, as well as other religious ideas and beliefs. Additionally, I went on to study Mental Health Counseling & Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania for grad school and learned a great deal about human suffering, the nuance of how it takes place, and the effect it has on us in our lives.

What I have found is that there is an incredible thread of truth that is running through all religious thought, as well as modern psychology. While religions have indeed become skewed in many of their interpretations, at the core they are truly saying one thing:

"The Kingdom of God is within you."

This is one of Jesus' most controversial sayings. In this talk I'll be going deeper into that verse and what it might really mean.

I'll use my knowledge of the historical criticism of the bible, my study of eastern spiritual thought, modern psychology, and of course, my own inner searching, in order to shed some light on what Jesus was actually saying and why it is so important for us to understand this message even if we will never touch religion.

There is a universal message of Love that we so desperately need to understand right now. It is powerful, often difficult, but necessary and truly revolutionary.

I hope you'll join me for this special event and in this Work of Love to heal ourselves and the world at large.

You are not alone.
