Stars plays Neptune Theatre in Seattle, WA on March 3rd Show @ 8:00PM Tickets available here: http://showsnear.by/StarsTour Album "No One Is Lost" Out Now: http://smarturl.it/StarsNoOneIsLost Stars’ seventh album No One Is Lost captures the bumping dance beats of a Montreal discotheque. The Canadian group keeps their indie-pop sound, while adding a disco flair fans old and new will love. STARS recorded ‘No One Is Lost’ at Montreal’s Mile End Studios, the former home of Handsome Furs (and the site of Arcade Fire’s first rehearsals). Drummer Pat McGee explains, "The sub-bass throb coming from the club below our studio was undeniably and unavoidably influential. It motivated us to out-throb the throb.” The result is STARS’ most dance-floor-ready album to date. As lead vocalist/guitarist Amy Millan admits, the band initially approached its new album from a place of relative stability. “We’ve always had so many things defining every album, whether it was the band going through a difficult emotional turmoil, Torq’s father passing away, or us having children. And now it’s like: You know what? We’re pretty good. This is one of the best times of our lives.” Then the unexpected, blindsiding, euphoric and celebratory bits of life happened, and STARS reacted and wrote to it all.
