Yogi, Samia, And Friends At Luso

Celebrating Luso Food and Wine's fourth year and Fatima's return from her travels in Europe and India! As in our last appearance at Luso, we will continue to explore the rich universe of material between Brazilian, Latin, and American jazz with some choice material from each genre plus some original pieces. Outstanding bass talent Jeff Volkman and percussion innovator Denny Stern will be rounding out the quartet. We're inviting musician friends to bring their instrument or voice and do a song or two with us as well. If you haven't experienced Luso yet, this would be an excellent time to experience this rich and unique venue. Luso specializes in fine Portuguese wines and cuisine. Hailing from Goa, India (a former Portuguese colony) owner Fatima brings in the added knowledge of Indian cuisine and spices as well. Seattle's Brazilian musicians have made this a frequent hang. Luso is a meeting of friends to the soundtrack of some of the best Brazilian, American and Latin jazz you'll find in the Seattle area. We are honored and thrilled to be asked to play here again!
