It’s the seventh visit for Viktoria Mullova, who has been chosen as one of the Top 5 violinists in the world by Time magazine. It’s also been seven years since the BBC Philharmonic has stopped by Korea. As one of the best orchestras from the classical music powerhouse of England, we saw them perform in Korea back in 2011 when they were under the direction of their previous conductor, Gianandrea Noseda. It will be the first to see them perform under Maestro Juanjo Mena. They are here to show us a whole new world with Jean Sibelius’ violin concerto and a symphony by Schubert’s symphony.
