An evening of (a whole lot of) British charm and treats: BCCK British Embassy Garden Party

Scotch eggs and tie. Such a combination is what is missing in the life of us, Seoulites, with the emphasis on the former―plus Yorkshire pudding, Cornish pasty, fish and chips, shepherd’s pie and bangers and mash, of course. The British Chamber of Commerce in Korea (BCCK) will be holding its annual Garden Party at the charming British Embassy Garden on Thursday, September 8, from 6:30pm to 9pm. And yes, all of the unpretentious British staples that are to be served at the party will be as good as your grandma’s (or, your friend’s grandma’s), as they will be prepared by the skilled chefs from Millennium Seoul Hilton. The event will provide great networking opportunities as well, as around 400 guests from various business sectors and international organizations will be attending, whilst every attendee will get the chance to win fancy prizes through the Lucky Draw event from a number of high-end British brands including Astrid and Miyu, Denby, Illuminum London and Jo Malone London. With open bars sponsored by Snow Leopard, Macallan and Harry Brompton’s, as well as the chill tunes of nu-disco played by Yann Cavaille, this annual BCCK British Embassy Garden Party will be one classy shindig (with a nostalgic undertone, for some).
