From the original series, which is split into The Afterlife, The Present and The Legend, The Afterlife volume was adapted into a musical. Kim Ja-hong, who has died and entered the afterlife, meets lawyer Jin Ki-han. The musical depicts hell and the trial comically. Sprinkled with laughter, the legal proceedings in the afterlife make us contemplate our own lives.
