What do you do when your posh and delicious Peruvian restaurant grows into a sensational global brand? You collaborate with a hotel and expand your next location into a glorious, beachfront property with rooms. That’s exactly what the COYA brand did this year when it partnered with BLESS Collection Hotels and launched its very first set of luxury rooms in Ibiza this June. Welcome to the COYA Rooms at Bless Ibiza, The Site.
Why stay in a COYA room at Bless Ibiza, The Site?
Part-hotel, part-beach club, COYA Ibiza is a chic little paradise on Platja d'en Bossa for those seeking relaxation by day and light debauchery by night. Bedrooms are lavish, spacious and comfortable, and seconds away from the ocean. The food, like all COYA locations, is fresh, fun and delicious, and the beach club, itself, is a vivacious space that shakes up some truly unique cocktails. All this with a glorious seaside view – pretty epic stuff.
What are the COYA rooms like at Bless Ibiza, The Site?
There are only 10 COYA rooms on the property, each warm-toned with natural materials, vibrant colours and Latin-American flair. Incan-inspired patterns and florals are thoughtfully placed throughout the interior, alongside dark wood furnishing and tasteful touches of gold. Beds are spacious and heaven-sent, lighting is intimate and each room comes with either a private balcony or garden.
Opt for the COYA Selva rooms and you’ll find a private hot tub, too, but if you’re looking for the most elite, book the Mirador Suite. The bedroom overlooks Playa d'en Bossa, and its outdoor spiral staircase leads up to a secluded, elevated terrace – hot tub obviously included. It’s shaded, fully furnished and perfect for some honeymoon romance, or soaking up the beauty all to yourself.
What is the food and drink like at COYA Ibiza?
COYA might be shifting from a global restaurant chain to a global lifestyle brand, but its Peruvian cuisine will always be the star. Each section of COYA Ibiza has its own menu. If you’re lounging in the beach club sunbeds, options are slimmer to make eating and lounging more comfortable. Think small plates, handhelds, ceviches and cocktails.
But across the club in the main dining room, you’ll find the full COYA menu; vibrant, fresh and beautifully presented. Empanadas come steaming hot with a perfect dough-to-filling ratio. The pork and beef come juicy and tender. Guacamole comes with a half-avocado before it gets smashed by the server before your eyes. But COYA’s prized dishes? That’s the cevichés (it’s Peruvian, remember?). Beautifully served on a rotating platter, ceviches range from a more Japanese-inspired spicy tuna with chilli, ponzu, sesame, and crispy rice, to the original (and sensational) seabream ceviche with ají limo, sweet potatoes and choclo (Andean corn kernels) swimming in delightful leche de tigre, a lush mixture of lime juice, fish stock, ají amarillo, garlic and coriander.
If you can even lift yourself from all the gorging, it’s worth making a trip upstairs to the COYA Pisco Bar for a post-feast tipple. The cocktail menu is beautifully based on the diverse Peruvian terrains: from the sea, to the sierra to the ‘selva’ – Spanish for jungle.
La Mar is the best example. Tanqueray No. TEN Gin is mixed with 1615 Pisco Quebranta, lemongrass, Franklin & Sons Tonic and blue spirulina to create a bright blue cocktail that represents the sea. However, I recommend the Dona Luisa, a stunning tequila-based drink with Don Julio Blanco Tequila, basil oil and ‘Hierba Luisa’ or lemon verbena, a bright, citrusy shrub native to Peru.
What is the service like at COYA and Bless Ibiza, The Site?
For the high price point, service was hit-and-miss. Those manning reception and room service orders were flawless. However, restaurant servers, though polite lacked profession, and struggled with food orders and table numbers across the hotel property. Spa attendants welcome you warmly, but skip on explaining procedures, and turn-down service will tidy up and replace towels, but skimp on daily water refills and bathroom product replacements. To be fair, most of the issues seem due to the property’s very recent opening. Hopefully, the staff will find its bearings in the next few months.
What else will I find near the COYA rooms at Bless Ibiza, The Site?
COYA’s rooms are directly across from the COYA beach club and restaurant, where rows of umbrella-covered sunbeds await on the sandy shores of Playa d'en Bossa. But if you prefer the pool, you’re in luck. There are multiple across the hotel. There’s also a gym and Soulful Spa, on the ground floor, but at the time of my visit in June 2026, it was unfinished. The hot tub was more like a cool-to-lukewarm tub, rooms were closed off and maintenance workers were still adding finishing touches to the site. Across the spa, the gym is divided into two sections. One room had AI-assisted equipment, and the other had traditional weights and machines. Given the small space, it would have made more sense to avoid the AI-gimmick, and fill the room with more normal equipment for more people to use, but who am I to judge? On a holiday, physical labour is the last thing on my mind.
What’s the area like around BLESS Ibiza, The Site ?
The direct, unlimited beach access to Playa d'en Bossa is a god-send. The sand is soft and golden, the sea, clear and blue, and the beach walks and people-watching are elite.
Venture outside the property and within minutes, you're at a luxury shopping gallery with clothing that’s just as expensive as one-night hotel stay. There's also a strip of local bars and restaurants on the Platja d'en Bossa motorway, and the famous Hï, one of Ibiza's most famous night clubs, less than four minutes from the hotel.
For a more local ambiance, taxis can take you to the Old Town in a quick 10-15 minutes. Pre-game with drinks and tapas at Room Service before catching another cab to one of the island’s major night clubs. UNVRS is an epic, nearby option, featuring various rooms with different DJs and vibes, and a line-up of excellent residencies (right now, you can see FISHER and Carl Cox) that’ll make you wish you had booked a two-week holiday, one week for debauchery, and the next week to recover from it.
Why should you book a COYA Ibiza room?
COYA Ibiza has all the potential to become an exquisite stay. Its impressive menu, cocktails and beach access are reasons alone to book. While the hotel still has a bit of work to really perfect its property, I have no doubt that it can become one of Ibiza’s next coolest stays.
Despite it all, I’d still return to COYA Ibiza to order one of those aji spicy margs and melt in one of those sunbeds until the sun goes down.
