Birthday Club is a band from Houston, TX. The project was founded in late 2015 by Stephen Wells, one of the primary songwriters in the popular Texas based psych-pop band, Featherface. The band had great success touring nationally in addition to performing as an official artist at major festivals like SXSW Official, CMJ Official, and X-Games Austin, to name a few. Birthday Club has since hit the ground running, already opening for major acts like Avi Buffalo, while holding a constant regional touring schedule as the band prepares to release its highly anticipated debut EP, "Lighten Up."

Recently, Birthday Club was also selected as an official recording artist in the Converse Rubber Tracks Music Program during SXSW 2016, which assisted the band in final recording and production sessions for the upcoming EP.

The EP was engineered and co-produced by a close-knit team consisting of Grammy Award winning engineer Erik Wofford and Chief Converse Rubber Tracks engineers Aaron Bastinelli and Justin Douglas. The EP was mastered by Michelle Mancini (Alicia Keys, Fitz & The Tantrums.) Birthday Club will be supporting the release with a series of national tours starting Fall 2016.
