Throughout 2021 and beyond, Time Out is celebrating Future Makers – amazing people all over the world whose exceptional ideas and incredible work are building better cities right now.

We want your help – which Future Makers do you want to celebrate in your city or your community?

We’re looking for the people in city life – across culture, entertainment, food and drink, the urban environment, sustainability and more – who are so unique that we should celebrate them as Future Makers: people who right now are making the future we want to see.

What’s a Future Maker, you ask?

Someone with vision, someone with original ideas, someone whose work is making a mark on the city and community around them. Maybe they’re even changing the world.

They could be chefs, poets, artists, filmmakers, politicians, activists, scientists, campaigners, writers – anyone with a special vision and a record of getting stuff done.

Are they famous? Maybe. Could they be known only in your city or your neighbourhood? That’s possible too.

We want to hear your nominations, and we’ll share them with the Time Out world as we roll out our celebration of Future Makers in the coming weeks and months.

You can nominate people in one or more categories below. Feel free to come back and nominate someone else too!

Can’t see the form? Nominate a Future Maker here.
