It’s no secret that the Irish really know how to party, and St Patrick’s Day is no exception. The day (March 17), which is a celebration of the patron saint of Ireland is usually one big welcoming bash, with dancing, hearty traditional dishes, a huge parade and as many pints as you can handle.

This year, thanks to the Covid-19 crisis, St Paddy’s Day is looking a little bit different, with parades and parties having been cancelled around the globe.

But the internet is here to save those of us in self-quarantine or praticising social distancing, by live streaming some of those sweet party vibes straight into our living room.

Tune into these St Patrick’s Day events from your sofa, wherever it is in the world. Musicians are performing on Facebook right now for The St Patrick's Day 2020 Online Sligo Festival

Irish band The Mary Wallopers are live streaming a gig out of a 'pub' they’ve constructed in their living room, after their event was cancelled – you can stream it here from 8pm GMT tonight.

Meanwhile, around the world, a U2 tribute band are live streaming their concert from Toronto here and band Dropkick Murphys will be carrying on with their St Patrick’s Day gig in Boston without an audience and sharing it online instead – you can find deets here. Cheers!
