On September 13, 2025, at 5:00 PM, at the Serralves Pop Up in Time Out Market Porto, join the reading circle and conversation dedicated to the work of Audre Lorde, a central figure of Black feminism and contemporary literature, and one of Zanele Muholi’s main influences.
The gathering will also feature the presentation of Audre Lorde’s books “Irmã Marginal”, “Sister Outsider”, and “Zami: A New Spelling of My Name — A Biomythography.”
This event proposes a space for encounter and exchange around the poetic and political tactics of Black queer women, exploring both the relevance and transformative power of literary and artistic expression.
The initiative is promoted by the Serralves Bookshop, as part of its literary outreach program.
From 6:00 PM onwards, there will be a party with DJs, with free admission.
