This year's 3331 Art Fair features 60 contemporary artists who will be showcasing their works for one weekend at the 3331 Arts Chiyoda complex. This is an art market, meaning you can see the artwork, interact with the featured artists, and even purchase their work. The venue was formerly a school before it was converted into a gallery, and it features spaces for activities as well as viewings. Head up to the rooftop to see larger installations, or the former gymnasium on the second floor to pick up an art zine to take home.
Note: visitors will need to purchase tickets (general admission ¥2,500) in order to access most of the gallery spaces, but some areas – including the rooftop, B1 gallery and the café – can be accessed for free. In addition, Chiyoda residents will be able to enter for free if they can provide proof of residence.
