Time Out says

This is a bittersweet moment for 3331 Arts Chiyoda. After 12 long years of hosting workshops, pop-up stalls and other art related events, the school-turned-gallery will host one last exhibition before closing its doors at the end of March 2023. For this final showcase, the gallery is looking back on all of its major art initiatives and the role it has played in the local community since the Great East Japan Earthquake of 2011.

In one of the spaces, you’ll find a chronological display of all the big events and activities 3331 has hosted at its main facility, while a separate section reflects on some of the outreach work the organisation has done beyond the borders of Chiyoda. For more installations, you can also check out 3331’s collaborative exhibition co-hosted by local galleries including Akitbatamabi 21, Ueno Art Village and Gallery Irritum Tokyo.

In addition to visual displays, this last hurrah will feature events such as painting workshops for kids, panel discussions and a secret auction for various artworks. Admission to the venue is free and those who have visited the venue before are encouraged to fill in the blank in the exhibition title by writing the words they think would fit best on a sheet of paper for other gallery goers to see.
