Now running at the Mori Arts Center Gallery is the touring ‘Alice in Wonderland’ exhibition from London’s Victoria and Albert Museum. The collection depicts the many ways Lewis Caroll’s original children’s story has been interpreted since its publication in 1865.
Beginning with John Tenniel's illustrations in the first edition of 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland', the exhibition takes us through a fascinating evolution of this children's fantasy tale and the many ways it has inspired our contemporary culture. Look out for catwalk looks designed by Vivienne Westwood, a 'Mad Tea Party' painting by Salvador Dali, and photographs of the Bob Crawly’s set and costume pieces designed for the Royal Ballet, all inspired by the beloved story.
