Time Out says

Performance and installation artist Chiharu Shiota is the woman behind the acclaimed 'The Key in the Hand' installation, created as Japan's contribution to the 2015 Venice Biennale. The Berlin-based Shiota, who makes a specialty of creating all-encompassing environments that seem to hover somewhere between pleasant dream and nightmare, now brings her Venice piece back home – kind of. 'The Locked Room', on display at Yokohama's Kanagawa Arts Theatre, combines the red threads from 'The Key in the Hand' with five old doors and used locks assembled from all over world, making for a shockingly impressive display that's well worth checking out on your way to or from Chinatown.
