Art collective Everyday Holiday Squad – associated with the anonymous group Side Core – has taken over the Sky Gallery of Shibuya Scramble Square this summer to present their latest solo exhibition. Titled ‘Down To Town’, this series of roughly ten works is inspired by the concept of looking down at the city through a telescope. These include the painting ‘Down to Town’, which resembles a street graffiti mural, as well as the curious telescope installation ‘I’m Looking at You’. See if you can find out what the latter is pointing towards at this impressive observatory overlooking the Tokyo skyline.
This exhibition is free, but you’ll need a ticket to Shibuya Sky to enter the gallery. Book in advance for a discount.
