Exhibition: Tezuka Osamu wo Soutei Suru

n exhibition of newly designed covers created to recover graphic novels by manga artist, animator and producer Osamu Tezuka (a man often credited as the ‘Godfather of Anime’ and the genius behind works such as Astro Boy, Kimba the White Lion, Black Jack, and Phoenix), ‘Tezuka Osamu wo Soutei Suru’ opens on Friday October 8 on the second floor of paper company Takeo’s ‘Takeo Mihoncho Honten’. Additionally, on Wednesday October 27, there will also be a special talk, entitled ‘Tezuka Osamu to Soutei’, beginning at 6.30pm – the sign up form for which can be found online at takeo.co.jp/cgi-bin/site/event/request/index.php.
