Time Out says

In this exhibition, eight artists examine the original definition of fetishism – the worship of objects – through creative expression that doesn’t just pertain to themes of eroticism. While fetishes are often discussed in the context of sexual preferences, kinks and BDSM, they also have significant influence over music, fashion, art and many other aspects of our culture.

The participating artists include Keroppi Maeda and Vivienne Sato, who are both leading figures in Japan’s underground fetishism scene. Here, visitors can contemplate the role fetishism plays in modern society and enjoy the contrast between the diverse works which range from heavy duty latex headgear to pink and frilly corsets.
