Working in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, Francisco Goya stood at the cusp of the modern era, and has come to be regarded as one of Spain's most important artists. There'll be over 120 of his works on display in this extensive exhibition, with notable pieces such as 'The Clothed Maja' (no word on her nude counterpart, alas) hanging alongside rough sketches and woodblock prints. Many are on loan from Madrid's Museo del Prado, which must be looking a little empty at the moment – well, relatively speaking.
