Time Out says

Harajuku gallery Blum & Poe is hosting the first solo exhibit of artist J B Blunk in Japan since – wait for it – 1954. Heavily influenced by Japan in general and Japanese ceramics in particular, Blunk was orginally known as a woodworker, but became involved in Japanese pottery after a stint with the US military in Korea. Later introduced to pottery titan Rosanjin Kitaoji, Blunk was active between the '50s and '90s. This show displays more than 50 of his pieces.
