One of the giants of American avant-garde filmmaking, Lithuanian-born living legend Jonas Mekas is in focus at Shirokane's Our Favourite Shop. Opened just a few months ago, the store and gallery is already becoming something of a gathering spot for local creatives, and is now set to enhance its reputation further with this exhibition. Check out a print series of Mekas's 'Frozen Film Frames' and art themed on Mekas films painted by students at a Hokkaido art school, and consider booking a seat for one of the two screenings scheduled during the event period (details below).
