Kabuki: Theaters During the Edo Period

As the newly rebuilt Kabukiza prepares to reopen in April, the Suntory Museum of Art looks back at the history of Japan's theatrical tradition, in a show featuring ukiyo-e depictions of popular actors, theatres and even contemporary fashions that were influenced by kabuki.
