Ken Kitano: Gathering Light

A master of the notoriously tricky large format camera, Ken Kitano has spent much of his career shooting cities and urbanites, but also has a soft spot for the power of nature. His latest experimental series explores the movements and light of the sun, which Kitano captured by placing cameras in select locations and leaving their shutters open for extended periods in order to express the cosmic travels of our very own star.
