Known for heavy, industrial-looking sculptures made from materials such as heartwood, iron, lead and gypsum crystals, Kiyoshi Kawashima doesn't appear to care much for minimal aesthetics. The 66-year-old's latest exhibition continues the 'Water Quantity' series he has been working on since 2005, and consists mainly of sculptures crafted out of zelkova wood.
