Time Out says

Korean fine art photographer and academic Koo Bohnchang has made a career out of shooting antiques, furniture and other decorative pieces in monochrome, and has exhibited across Asia, Europe and the US over the past two decades. Showing at Shibuya's Tomio Koyama Gallery, 'White Vessels' is a 13-piece series that features a Korean porcelain collection put together by Soetsu Yanagi, founder of the Japan Folk Crafts Museum and advocate of the beauty of everyday crafts. Particularly attractive for their combination of refined craftmanship and simplicity, these centuries-old porcelain pieces get reverent treatment in Koo's photos, displayed here in the form of platinum and palladium prints.
