Kozo Miyoshi: Ringo

Re-opening in Nishi-Azabu on October 27 after its move from Shibaura, PGI (formerly known as Photo Gallery International) now presents a fascinating exhibition centred on renowned photog Kozo Miyoshi's 'Ringo' series. Having travelled far and wide in Japan over a period of three and a half years, Miyoshi has put together a unique collection documenting the life and surroundings of apple farmers. Spending time on the farms in order to familiarise himself with the hardship-filled but often rewarding lifestyle of these 'agricultural warriors', the veteran snapper is out to prove he's still got the magic that brought us series like 'Sakura' and 'Tokyo Drive'.
