Kyohei Sakaguchi: Practice for a Revolution

Time Out says

Some artists merely spout anti-establishment rhetoric, but Kyohei Sakaguchi actually lives it. The trained architect's previous exploits have included a stint living alongside homeless people on the banks of the Tamagawa River, and he responded to last year's Tohoku disaster by moving to Kumamoto and establishing a new government (don't worry, we missed that news story too). His new show at the Watari-Um offers him a prominent platform to expound his unorthodox views on property, freedom and the society of the future, as well as question assumptions regarding the need for money and nuclear energy.
