Time Out says

This month is Watarium’s 30th anniversary. To commemorate the occasion, the museum is celebrating the city and all its progress in the past three decades through artworks produced since the museum's establishment in 1990. As an instituiton that was originally created for the everyday people of Tokyo whose usual daily routines consist of going to school, commuting to work and weaving around crowded streets, Watarium has curated a series of works that capture the lives of those who have visited the museum over the past 30 years. The exhibition will feature local and international artists including Makoto Aida, Harumichi Saito, Olaf Nicolai and Fabrice Hybert.
