Magma Exhibition: Symvol

Run by artist duo Jun Sugiyama and Kenichi Miyazawa, the Magma collective manipulates plastic, wood, electronics and other unlikely materials to create a strange world of stylishly imperfect sculptures, furniture and interiors. The group's designs have been featured in music videos for Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and Sakanaction, on NHK's 'Music Japan' show and at the Keisuke Kanda store in Shinjuku, but this exhibition allows you to take time and survey them from close range. A total of around 30 pieces are on display, from paintings and collages to large figurines.
