Maripol Book Signing

New York-based photographer and artist Maripol celebrates the release of her latest work, entitled Maripola X, with this exclusive signing event at Harajuku's Bookmarc. The multi-talented Maripol has been active in the NYC art scene since 1976, working in fields ranging from film production to fashion accessories, even creating Madonna's look on the classic Like a Virgin album. The Maripola X book (¥9,720) reveals her personal life through poems and polaroid photos, telling a story of love, sexuality, joy and innocence. The first edition of this work will be limited to 600 copies worldwide, and is only available at Bookmarc stores in Tokyo, Paris, Los Angeles and New York.
