What's behind the mask? Well, at this exhibit curated by Singaporean art collective Kult and featuring 26 pieces by some of Asia's hottest up-and-coming artists, the mask itself matters. Used throughout human history for entertainment, religious and even more sinister purposes, these tools of disguise may have lost some of their physical power in the age of the internet, but their raison d'être – allowing for anonymity and transformation – is as relevant as ever. The works on display explore the contemporary role of the mask through media including sculpture and street art, and make for a thought-provoking exploration of why we continue to wear masks in the present.
