Nagisa Nakauchi: Tropical Botanica on Vintage Books

Cosmopolitan painter and illustrator Nagisa Nakauchi has made a career out of travelling the world and depicting scenes from city life on pages of old books she found at vintage stores and flea markets. Now, however, she's left the urban theme behind and swapped busy streets for tropical flora. Check out Nakauchi's take on colourful flowers and plants at the Books and Modern gallery, where her work is accompanied by live tropical botanica arranged by the folks behind Kachidoki flower shop Aglaia.
