Time Out says

Subtitled ‘200 Selected Works by Japanese Calligraphers in commemoration of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games’, this exhibition should excite calligraphy newbies and master brush-wielders alike. The works displayed come courtesy of not only renowned artists but also aspiring calligraphers from elementary school age and up, making for a varied and inspiring selection. Besides viewing scrolls, visitors can watch videos of famous calligraphers at work, catch live demonstrations and take part in workshops, some of which are open to first-timers. Think of it as an invitation to the world of shodo, the way of writing, which encompasses more diversity than you might have imagined.

Note: The dates and opening hours of this exhibition may change due to the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak. Please see the official website for the latest details.
