Many a travelling person has had a pashmina scarf (whether fake or real) in their possession. The real thing is from Kashmir and Nepal, and is made from very fine wool known as pashmina, which was also christened cashmere. The Japanese brand Nukuiro is on a mission to introduce this artisanal handicraft and its makers to Japan with this exhibition, where you'll see real pashmina alongside Bengali Jamdani woven cotton (muslin) and photos taken at the source of both products.
