Time Out says

Hit this tasty exhibition themed around traditional Ukiyo-e art. Famous Ukiyo-e artists such as Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Hiroshige, and Utagawa Kuniyoshi were known to depict many Edo food scenes in their work, and this exhibition introduces their art as well as Edo recipes that are still used today. In response to the recent addition of Japanese cuisines to the intangible cultural heritage list, the director of the Hokusai Museum has curated a special series of works to convey the taste and culture of Japanese food. Visitors of the exhibit will be invited on a journey that captures the essence of the Edo period through visuals, recipes, and actual representations of the techniques that existed during the time.
