Celebrating its 130th anniversary this year, Tokyo University of the Arts has dug really deep into its art collection for this fantastic two-part show. Taking place from July 11 to August 6 and from August 11 to September 10, it brings together everything from national treasure-grade masterpieces to graduation works by the likes of Taikan Yokoyama, Eisaku Wada and lacquerware artist Gonroku Matsuda. As most of the pieces on display are changed in between the two parts, best get a special two-time ticket (¥1,300) if you're looking to see everything.
