Time Out says

A veteran of the Paris and New York art scenes, Maebashi-born Sanae Takahata has been a force to be reckoned with in the field of Japanese contemporary art for decades. Her latest show, held at Sagacho Archives inside 3331 Arts Chiyoda (room B110), consists mainly of small, wearable objects incorporating medieval themes and symbolism. A total of 300 pieces, including 11 new oil paintings, will be on display – these mysteriously beautiful works should also make for interesting Christmas presents.
