Time Out says

Shiki Taira’s artworks depict invisible spiritual beings such as gods and yokai demons in a humorous way. You’ll be able to see ten of Taira’s works at this solo exhibition in Seibu Shibuya. She’s using a traditional Japanese painting technique called kenpon chakushoku, where silk is coloured with natural mineral pigments and dyes.

Make sure to check out the streetside window displays on the ground floor of Seibu Shibuya’s building A. Here you’ll find two large-scale paintings by Taira depicting Susanoo, the god of the storms, and Amaterasu Omikami, the goddess of the sun.

The exhibition takes place daily from 10am to 8pm on the eighth floor of Seibu Shibuya’s building B.
