Shodo Japanese Calligraphy Experience

If there's one thing the Sakura Hotel group does well (aside from providing decent accommodation at excellent prices), it's to introduce aspects of Japanese culture to tourists that might not otherwise get the chance to experience them. This week's event follows on from similarly interactive demonstrations held in the past, offering visitors an insight into the world of shodo (Japanese calligraphy). Learn to write your name not only in kanji, but in a style of kanji that you just might be able to pass off as art when you return home.
