Sottsass

This Ebisu retrospective commemorates Italian designer and architect Ettore Sottass, whose works have seen plenty of the spotlight recently – mainly because of David Bowie. Ziggy Stardust himself turned out to have been a secret yet avid collector of Memphis Milano design, a group founded by Sottass in the 1980s. His pop art-coloured, unique designs continue to serve as sources of inspiration for many artists and designers to this day. The exhibition mainly focuses on key works from the '80s, all of which will also be for sale.
