Tokyo's manga master of puerility, Takashi Nemoto occasionally takes his satirical, gaudy and surreal game to the big canvas. Take 'Ocean of Trees', a mega-painting that the artist calls 'my Guernica' – in a rather bold reference to Picasso's 1937 mural – and is now being displayed at Ichigaya's Mizuma Gallery along with production materials and other related paraphernalia.
