Subtitled 'The World of Craft Letters', this exhibition draws from the Japan Folk Crafts Museum's own collection and focuses on the letters and characters drawn on paintings, sutras, pottery and tools. Labeled 'craft letters' by museum founder Soetsu Yanagi, these markings radiate a peculiar beauty and bring out yet another dimension of the crafts they adorn.
