While some people would prefer not to dwell too much on the first anniversary of the March 11 quake and tsunami, the Miraikan is pushing in the opposite direction: its latest exhibition encourages people to contemplate the end of everything – their own lives, nature, civilisation and even the universe itself. Over the course of the exhibit, visitors will be confronted with a total of 73 apocalyptically themed questions, their answers to which should reveal what their priorities are in life. Granted, it all sounds a bit abstract, but it could make for a fascinating and thought-provoking experience.
