Young photog Yusuke Nishimura spent the past three and a half years travelling around Japan in search of folk beliefs and the time-honoured forms of performing art that are such a central part of these traditions. 49 of these make up 'The Folk', Nishimura's first photo book, which was released on Christmas Day last year. Check out around 20 impactful shots from the collection now at Roppongi's Ima Concept Store, and consider picking up the full publication afterwards.
