The Future of Creation 7

This series of exhibitions curated by four leading Japanese artists and architects has reached its seventh phase, and now shines the spotlight on the activities of Pritzker Prize winner Toyo Ito. Focusing on the Gifu Media Cosmos, a multi-use structure designed by Ito and opened in July 2015, the display explores how this innovative construction, which houses a library, gallery, concert hall and more, was completed and what plans exist for its future use. Should be interesting for anyone interested in Ito's ideas of locally rooted architecture.
